Delete your account

Delete it in the app

1. Open the app and tap “Dashboard” at the bottom.
2. Open the “Account” section at the very bottom.
3. Tap “Delete account” and confirm with “Delete now”.

After successful confirmation, we remove your active account and the data listed below. The data may remain in encrypted backups for up to one week until they are overwritten automatically; cached copies of a profile picture may also still exist. If an old picture link remains accessible, please report it to kontakt@schick-vienna.at.

Ask us to delete it without the app

Send an email to kontakt@schick-vienna.at with the subject “Delete account” and include your username. Please write from the email address you registered with, so that nobody can have someone else’s account deleted. We delete your account within one month at the latest and confirm it by email.

What is deleted

• your login and email address
• your profile with username, friend code, profile picture and profile details
• points and level
• friendships, friend requests and close-friend alerts
• attendance (“I’m coming!”), visit history and ratings
• followed hosts and push identifiers
• your host activation

Settings stored only on your device are removed when you delete the app.

What is kept

• Events you entered as a host, artist kudos, change proposals and any campaign records may remain in the app, on the website, in rankings or in internal records. Personal references are deleted or replaced with random identifiers that are no longer linked to any name, email address or profile.
• Records we must keep for legal reasons, such as invoices or image-rights confirmations, are kept until the statutory periods end.
• A technical log entry about the deletion stays in the server logs until they are routinely deleted.
